I Got Phone Trouble!

So I have a Motorola i425 and it's company provider is Boost. I just got the phone 3 if not 4 months back. I never dropped it or anything like that. I looked at it the other day and it sais 'no service'. It does this any other time, but it pops back to normal depending on the room I am in. Now, it won't go back to normal, the store where I got it claimed they can't do anything about it, Boost is saying take it to the store, and Motorola is trying to either get me to send it somewhere to be fixed. What should I do? What can I do to it at home to keep from even going through this?
