Reading news papers are the best to opt than reading a novel.well, i have read a novel called the three mistakes of my life. It was a good novel and the top most of its time too.
I dont read novels as a daily routine but i read this novel on my friends forcement.
She said to read it as it was a good one and believe her.
I said her that i dont read novels as they are so big and fat books and i will not be able to read it after checking the fatness of the book, but she insisted and yes she was right, the story line was quite good.

The last good book I read was "Debt of Honor" by Tom Clancy. It is in the Jack Ryan series of books. You may of seen movie adaptions of other titles in the series- "Hunt for Red October", "Patriot Games", "Clear and Preent Danger", "Sum of All Fears".

Well I suppose it depends if you enjoy that genre of book or not. Personally I love that type of book and I have read every single one in the Jack Ryan series.

I have read Tom Clancy's "Hunt for Red October" a long time back. I remember this, because, I was on a train travelling to New Delhi, when I read this book. After wards, I did not have the patience to read his other novels.
Thanks for the response.

The last novel I read was in the top 5 in my life! I'm old and an avid reader, so that is saying a lot. It was a 1989 novel by Ken Follett called "The Pillars of the Earth" and if you can get a hold of it I highly recommend it! tdemex

I have read some books by Ken Follett, but I do not remember all the titles. There is a lending library near my house, who stocks all the old novels, and I am sure I will be able to get this book there.
Thanks for the response.

All of the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer was the last thing I read and it was good. I would also suggest Eragon and the books that follow by Christopher Poalini. I spend hours reading and these are my recent favorites. Luck would have it that most of the books I read have been suggested to me by my children who all know my taste in books. I also like John Flanagon (from Australia) and his Ranger Aprrentice Series. I do admit that is has been awhile since I have read a book that was not part of a series, because before that it was David Eddings books. They are hard to get started but very good once you get into them.
