Anyone use Boost as their service?

I'm currently using Cricket as my cell phone provider. I am not the least bit happy with it and want to change. I need a prepaid no contract type service right now. I was thinking about switching to Boost. Has anyone used it? Does it get good coverage? Anyone in Georgia use it and had good luck with it?

i do use it and i like it very much. i also love the walkie talkie feature. but that only comes in handy if you have freinds or family with the same feature. it really cuts down costs when you can talk all day long with someone in a total other state miles away, just by beeping back and forth for only one dollar!! how can anyone beat that? why would not many many people be doing the walkie talkie thing rather then high prices of cell phone direct calling? i've had long conversations with my daughter in florida from AZ. for only one dollar that day! wish all my friends had this program.

Boost is an okay company but they bit off way more than they could chew with the $50.00 plan. It's like you load the money to your phone and you have unlimited everything for a whole month until you are due to pay again. the problems with this are: dropped calls if you had ringtones before you put the plan on, they will erase them duplicate/delayed text messages the coverage is pretty good but your reception will be crappy in certain areas..I live in jersey and honestly, if I could find it I would send our tower crashing down..I don't even know how and why I dealt with Boost all these years...either way, your decision is your decision..if I were you, I would find out if they have Metro in your area instead..save yourself some stress...

I will definitely check into Metro. Boost is pretty new here. Yeah, we are slow on technology down here. With Cricket, I do not get service outside of my town which is frustrating since all my family lives in a nearby town. Thanks for the info!

I have heard that Cricket phones are good but you have coverage problems. I have never tried Boost.
