Did you vote for Obama? What are your thoughts and concerns with him as our predident? My husband and I were having this conversation and I thought I would like to hear what others are thinking on the subject.

TO your first question, no, I didn't vote for him, and he is in some ways pretty much what I expected as a president, in other cases, he is far worse. As to my thoughts and concern, there isn't enough room in a single post to list and detail them all, so I will boil it down. I don't see him as much difference than Bush on the larger scale and broader sense, he has continued many of the same policies. when he was a senator, he voted for many of the unconstitutional things Bush did and as president, he has doen and is doing many other unconstitutional things.
I don't view my conservative or my liberal beliefs as a major part of my political beliefs, those two descriptions are not an acurate measure of government. Start looking at things in terms of libertarian vs authoritarian and you start to see a very differnt picture in our government. On this larger more important scale, both the parties are very much the same, both are pretty broadly authoritarian.
"Change" does NOT mean voting for the same two parties year after year.
