Weather it be the President of your country? Your Govenor? Or other governing body? I know many were in an uproar over Obama's speech to students here. Students in our school district were not permitted to see it until the board reviews it's contents. And tonight President Obama is looking to speak to our nation tonight about Healthcare Reform. Will you watch it? I don't know that I will seeing due to some bad behavior of my kids TV has been banned this evening. Perhaps I'll watch it on the net at a later time.

I don't normally watch them. It was actually my son's homework the other day to watch the news for information about Obama's speech. They started watching the speech at school, but something got messed up and they did not get to finish it.

Sometimes, albeit on the rare side. Typically I only pay mind when there are hotter topics on the table and the parties involved are being rather vocal about it, you know, the point they are about ready to leave their seats and start socking each other in the face. Granted, the end result of such speeches may not yield anything, and it was just another high volume rant of some politician, but I guess that's the one point in their careers where they feel like they will make a difference.

Well I'm a 18 year old boy from Sweden and generally speaking I find poltics very boring, at least Swedish poltics. However when obama was elected (and during the election) I watched it quite frequently and found it rather intressting. So generally speaking unless it's out of importance I ignore Swedish polticians :D And obama I don't really follow but I enjoy watching him speak, it's very powerfull (Even though I dont know/care about the contest, of course if I actually care it helps).

I'm not watching it tonight. I think FOX and the CW are the only broadcast networks to NOT air it. I say good for them. He gives way too many speeches. At least in my own opinion. Okay people reading this, don't jump on me for expressing my opinion. I didn't insult him. (I had to add that SnuggleBunnies, I'm tired of people randomly scolding me.) No, I don't usually watch the speeches given by people in our government. I do usually watch most of the State of the Union address, but that is just once a year - thank goodness.

I don't normally watch political stuff on t.v. Just yesterday the t.v was on one of those channels and the politicians were talking about everything getting better and better economics . More jobs, more ... It always sounds so nice, but I have never really seen much change. The only change I have seen is that life has gotten a whole lot harder. People don't have money and are all having big troubles. I don't see it getting better. That is why I don't like to watch these things, they depress me.

I rarely watch speeches, I read them or listen to them. This keeps me objective--lots of politicians depend on charm to mesmerize the people and listening or reading eliminates this weapon they use against people. I've been listening to the prez for at least 10 minutes and he's said nothing so far. I hope he gets to the point soon.
