what is the theme of your life

Welcome to the real world of human existance. Life has its ups and downs, but it seems when it starts down, it is a steep long slide. Sometimes you feel like you will never reach the bottom; but you will, and you will get yourself up, and start back up again. The theme of my life is learning to live with pain. This makes me a more compassioniant person. It has given my daughter who is an ER/ICU RN an example of real back pain, so she knows the fakers when they come through the door. It did things for my other children too, but they are minor things. Another theme of my life is having the abliity to listen and delve deeper into the problem without much effert on my part. I may not have suggestions for helping a person, but I can usually tell those I care about what the real problem is, so they can deal with the underlieing cause of the problem. The problem with this is I cannot do it for myself. But life is full of give and take.
