how do you find a women who smoke and drink?

hi friends,
i am not making any debate in here but i just want to ask a few questions to people around here and to know some answers about this..
i don't drink nor smoke.. i have no vices.!!
i was at the pharmacy last night when i saw a women smoking with her kid on the left side of her.. a lot of boys stare at her, i wonder what are they thinking about that women by that time..
a lot of questions across on my mind when i saw the incident also and that's why i came up to this question so it will be answered too through you.
maybe it's their lifestyle or they love to do it, i have seen a lot of women who have those vices.. and can't figure it out for why they are doing it or just think only on what people can say about them for doing those vices.. when a women got drunk, specially at the bar or on a public place, of course it's not good to see them like that. they are so weird, shout here and shout there, and still ended up to accidents or negative happenings because they are drunk... and the next day, they don't remember it..
friends, what do you think??
is it ok for girls who smoke and drink??

janebeth a mom who smokes is endangering her kid's health'and someone should tell her so. thats so bad. I hate seeing a woman drunk as'they look so gosh darned awful.these woman give all of us a bad name.'but they are not the majority though it may look like it.they just stick'
out much more than moral women do.

I can't agree that a woman who gets drunk is immoral as you implied. I study special education, volunteer at special Olympics, graduated with honors and have a great job. But I also occasionally get drunk. Am I any less a person for it?
Also, am I any less of a moral person than a man who drinks...?
I do agree that smoking in front of the children is not good.

maybe we have a lot of difference in terms of attitudes, specially about this thing, for me even if a women is well educated or she is professional, but still she do this thing, smoking and drinking in front of their kids is a big no no to me and we can say that at that time you are being on that situation, you are no longer professional on their eyes.. well, i t depends on your actions, there are many actions who have many explanations.. and that is my own opinion, and that is also your opinion and i can't change that..
, and yes that mother is a da** mother of all mothers.. she dares to do it in front of her kid, and the kid stares at her every time she blows,

well i think since women should be treater equally. Smoking is bad for health but people do it. Why does it become a sin when women do it? Unless I am wrong they are humans too and should have the same rights as men. And well I give you that. I find a women with a vice or two so much more sexier.

it's okay for anyone to do anything as long as they dont hurt others. but i guess, women who smoke and drink have an image. if they are my friends, then i dont have any prejudice against them cause i know them already. but if i just see them on the street smoking and drinking, then i always think about what happened to them to make them take up such vices.basically i judge them not to have great lives. anyway, that's just a perception

Women who drink or smoke is fine with if it is done moderately. The only problem arise is when they decided to do crazy things like shouting as if owning the whole world and cannot control themselves. I have seen women smoking in public and they don't look bad at all. As long as you can handle yourself well, that smoking is nothing but just a time killer or whatever it is..that's OK. I guess too much or somehow addicted to something is harmful as well..Going back to what i said--do everything moderately and everything will work out fine.

Hello Janebeth, I found women smoking and drinking exciting. I know that it is not part of a woman's line to smoke and drink, because it is a man's job or hobby. I find it exciting because I really love to know the really reason why they do that, when in fact they know the consequences of what smoking and drinking can do to their body. There are many types of smoking and drinking. SOme drink socially, some drink occassionally, but what really brought them into this drinking session? Is it just the thirst or do they find it very comforting when they drink.
I am a man, but I don't drink and smoke. We have our own will and you should also try to control yours.

i am pretty uncomfortable with women who drink or smoke . its not that i am biased to their gender or hold a traditional view for them.but i feel smoking and drinking are never a good practice be it for men or women.so women don't have to prove themselves liberated by getting into anything like that.wht do u say?

the world has been like this but i just learned to accept them just recently. i keep saying to myself that only few women do drink and smoke but i do discover more and more women that do smoke and drink. and as many as men who do smoke and drink. and so i just ignore them when i see them and just accept it as part of life.
but i don't want to judge them. maybe some women just do it out of habit or just to hang out with friends,. but whatever reason they do that, as long as they will respect other people then i don't have problem with that .

but there are lots of parents out there who don't actually watch over their kids and who they go with and they are not able to see if their kids are drinking already on their early age. i can see lots of kids now who drink who are not being reprimanded by their parents at all. they are quite lenient. anyways, each family has his own rules and so we can't really compare us to them .

Yeah sure, lets go back to the old days when women cant vote or work the same job as a man. And while we are at it lets just keep women from wearing pants of any sort. Only dresses and skirts. Cause you know, we women shouldn't be able to do anything that man can do right?? I don't see anyone saying that a father cannot do this in front of his child. What about the man that gets drunk every night and beats his wife and children. If you are going to talk about one, you need to talk about the other because we are all equal!

we all know boys are doing this, and they are very common.. taht's why i ask this for women who do this because they are not common, not all girls drink and smoke.. and i think they are precious to our eyes, and i can't afford them to do this thing specially in front of her kid.!!

It all depends on the persons interest. If he likes drinking & boozing , then I will only appreciate that, however I don't like the idea of women smoking in public because our society is not free enough to accept that & might pass some silly comments. This is because I don't find anything wrong in boozing or drinking by women provided they are not addicted to it. If you are a girl, then I think its always better to pass a comment after trying in those atleast once.I think without trying it, its not good to say what is good for others & what is bad. This is my opinion & might differ form person to person.

I think gals and boys should be treated equally but not in these conditions i mean these are bad things and even they cant handle it properly . No its not ok for gals to smoke or drink neither for men and its obvious they get wierd after drinking but can stop them either .

When they're old enough i supposed it's okay but i have seen young as teen who smokes and drinks with out people telling them not to do it. It's their choice really, even if some times, it's not that cool to do it in public, even for young men who smoke, much likely those people in their high-school days.............

i don't think women can't smoke and drink.my wife's granmother smoke and drink.yes it's her lifestyle.smoke is not a problem for women.some women who have heavy mental stress or they lack mental try to smoke to relax.this is the problem.

Most of my female friends are smoker,so let's just say I'm getting used to it.. Lolz
But if I can choose,I prefer a non-smoker woman.. ;-P
Since I'm not a smoker either.. And it's not healthy too..
I'm also okay with a drinker as long as they drink socially
But I think it's better for woman to not get drunk, my opinion didn't mean to judge woman for these behavior
I often heard some stories from my friends,about how women were being molested when they got drunk
Such issues put women in a fragile position.. So I think it's better for women,at least to control themselves

Hi there!
You have a point to make and you are very right in your observations. Smoking and drinking are injurious to our health and it affect both the genders. I also fail to understand that why do people indulge in smoking and drinking, this way, they not only waste their money but they also play with their health. BTW, I am a non-smoker and I don't drink.

i don't have vices too and i'm so proud and glad of that.
i feel sorry for women who smoke and drink in public places. more so when they are carrying their baby with them. their baby suffers more than they do. i don't know if they even occur in their mind the effect of it to their child. maybe they know but never care for what they care is that they are enjoying it. they say that if they smoke it can lessen their tension. whatever their reason as to why they do with their child, hope they realize that it is much better if they smoke if their child is not with them or around. neither way, it is still bad to their health.

It is a normal thing here in the UK for women to smoke and drink, but I don't think girls should get so drunk that they can't remember what they have done the night before, but they do it every weekend and that goes for men as well, any why shouldn't women smoke and drink? why only the men can, I drink once in a while with my friends but we don't get drunk and I smoke but my other friend don't, its just normal for us here, and there is nothing wrong in doing so.

maybe there are lot of difference among us and one of it is our culture, there are also some countries like you are open minded about it, and also it depends on the person.. but it can't change anything, weather you smoke or not, you drink or not.. at least we are humans and we have our own decisions and different aspects in life.!!

Hmmm I would feel the same way as I would feel if a man smokes or drinks. A vice is a vice. Gender doesn't matter for that. I in person Smoke, so I feel disgusting about it too if I am talking about me. I have seen the tantrums of people when they are drunk, thank God I am spared from this habit.
For women there is one single thing which I personally feel. As women are more close to children especially when they become mothers their moral responsibility as a human being increases manifolds than that of a man. But the scene of a drunkard man and a woman is the same obnoxious.

Hello. I am a woman who does not smoke although a few years back, I did smoke socially. I did not like the taste nor the smell so I quit. I do drink socially, but I can count on my fingers the number of times I got drunk. Nevertheless, I do not make a habit of passing judgments on women who like to smoke or drink. I think this is a personal choice. But my opinion is true for both men and women. Cancer has no gender, nor accidents. Women who get drunk and become loud and obnoxious are not a pretty sight. But so are men who drink excessively. A woman may endanger herself if she gets drunk, but so does a man (example, drunk driving). It is really not a matter of gender to me. Mother or father, both should set good examples to their children.
