Soo your on the phone with oh lets say the phoen company,or any company of your chosing, the first person u talk to asks your phone number, name and address maybe even an account number..then next thing u know ur transferred to another person..and they ask the same questions and put you on hold for a bit...say maybe 20 mins..then another person and another all asking the same dang questions about you that they shoudl of had and kept for ONE TIME ONLY! and to top it all off you probbaly have been on hold for about 45 mins..has this ever happened to you and did u get angry and maybe hang up and say hell with it? or patiently wait till u finally get to actually talk to someone..Me this happened to today and it was my phone company, and i was transferred 4 times and waited for about 40 mins,by the time i got the guy i needed,he still couldnt help me so i asked for a supervisor at this point i was sooooo pi$$ed off on sooo many levels!!! ughhh!! Being put on hold and being asked for the same information repeatedly does annoy me, especially if it is a long-distance call that I have to pay for! What annoys me even more, though, is having to go through a ton of prompts that say press "1" for such-and-such, press "2" for the next thing, etc. and then never getting my question answered and never being given the option of speaking to an actual person.

This actually happened to me the other day!
I was calling Toyota Financial in regards to setting up my account online so I could pay my bill. The site was not working right for some reason so I called the 1800 #. Well I talk to a representative he transfers me to what ended up being the same number had to punch in my account number again, got switched over to another representative she couldn't help me out. So she switched me over to the automated system again. After talking to 5 different people, by the time I got to the 6 guy I told him look your people suck, I'm tired of this run around please close my Account. I was so annoyed at that point I just never wanted to deal with them again so I closed my credit card. Now have 0% interest and paying it off.

I have been put on hold and I have had to repeat information..but not 4 times before. My phone has rung with a number I don't recognize then a automated voice comes on and says..Your call is important to us, please stay on the line to talk to so and so..then you sit and hold 5 minutes or more waiting.. I usually end up hanging up when it is that long..and 9 times out of ten it isn't for me most the time..

LOL--I try an avoiding calling these companies as often as possible and instead email them...if you pay these companies on-line it's just easier to email them. But for the most part, it seems everything is super automated...Number one, when I call say the phone company, they have a tracker which picks up what phone number you're calling from...but all this is automated, so first one gets, Press 1 for english, Press 2 for Spanish....then it rattles out ten zillion menu options..by the time it lists them all I've forgotten what the frick I was calling about. Oh, and heaven help you trying to get a REAL person to talk to...that's my beef. But yes, on the occasions I talked to a real person, often I'm switched to the "proper" department about a thousand times...then know what happens? I get disconnected! Sheesh
