Well, I guess that England got their revenge out of the croatians at last. Good for them. Don't really care for England either though, so feel a bit sorry the croatians. Hope that they can qualify to the WC...how's it looking up for them?

Hi solatjumat, I am a big fan of England and of course I am happy with that result. Two goals from Gerrard is not expected since he play more defensive midfielder rules not like when he play with Liverpool. England deserve this win because they control most of the game. Capello is a good manager and know what he's doing. He also keep the discipline intact at his wealthy player. The player respect him to and that is very important in a team. I hope they can keep up the expectation this tome around.

England didn't really need to win the game to qualify, or they could have won it on a lower score, but I think they crushed Croatia like this as payback for the last qualifying campaign, when Croatia left England at home. I don't think the English will forget that humiliation very soon, and they will be extra-motivated evry time when they play against Croatia for the next few years.

that is great. they continued their tradition to play on worldcup final on 2010. I am a big fan of england, then I am very happy they can beat croatia by 5-1, this can cure their past euro's qualification injuries.
