Is your partner your best friend?

My answer is no. I love my guy but my best friend is another. maybe it is a matter of time. I have known my best friend for years and I just connected with my guy this summer.I love my best friend just a brother,I have no romantic feelings for him whatsoever.My question is does your partner Have to be a best friend.I know there should be friendship but a best friend? Help.

My sister says her husband is her best friend as does my friend also say that about hers......it's been too long since I have been in a relationship but with the last one....yes he was my very best friend at the time.

It must be the way I'm made. I love my guy and yes we started out as friends but I already have a best friend. I love my best friend like a brother and that's it.I must be weird.

Yes it is more likely than any other starter, because you can be open with that person about anything. You agree on like 92% of things or more, or they are like your yang to your ying so they balance you out. And of course you can trust your bestfriend, you most likely won't have to worry about them cheating on you (you already know about their past) and your bestfriend is most likely not judgmental so they will love even your flaws. idk i absolutely love my bestfriend, he thinks we would be perfect but im already with someone.

My husband is my best friend, and I am his best friend. He's been divorced enough times to know that he doesn't want a woman with whom he can't be best friends. I've been enough bad relationships to feel the same way. We are happy together as friends and as lovers. We woudln't have it any other way.

Then it must be me.I can see falling for a friend but not for my best friend. I love him as a brother .It wouldn't change to romantic love.I guess I am not made that way.

Yes, I had a best friend too before I wedded, but after betrothal my partner is my best friend.

I will never marry.I would make the worse wife.If I were to marry,I would definitely need someone else to be my best friend.Question.Did your partner start to be a best friend before the wedding or did it happen right after the wedding/

Yes, my partner is my best friend. He is also a guy who helps me a lot. And I am very appreciating him, Frankly, sometimes,I even dream about him.But I also know it is impossible. We are just friend,and I will merry him.In fact, many people have our problems,it doesn't matter, just enjoy,and keep the rules.Good luck to you !
