why do men love basketball?

The basketball games are popular in most asian countries, as it do not need so much area as the football court. And the basket shooting is target oriented, thus a great appeal for most players. It entails running and jumping, so most fan tend to grow taller. I like the game, and often watch CBA and NBA.

well.. personally i think its about passion.. their love for the game.. but it doesn't really apply only to basketball.. i'm not sure about them but to me, the nba is one of the best, if not THE best, places to find passion, intensity, and character in ball players. you don't just see a bunch of guys running around passing and chasing balls. there you find players who play like its their last.. you feel their passion towards the game.. how the game brings out the best from these players. and in turn, brings out the best in person watching it (not everyone, really..), specially those who play it by heart.
