What do you think are the main causes of miseries in this world?

As per my knowledge I feel the four causes of distresses are
1. Birth
2. Disease
3. Oldage and
4. Death.
There may be many other ones but they are derived causes from these. What is your opinion?

What has been covered as the beginning of the thread here is very well the life-cycle of all life on Earth. I think perception could be a misery in the world because human nature/ curiosity connects well with the idea of misery. Basically, what we have imagined, what has happened, and how we have reacted to events that have occurred in the past or the present garner a case for misery.

Ya you are rite and the most important cause is population growth.Whatever distress might be there the root cause would be population growth.We should control the growth of population and also the greediness of some countries for power dominance over other countries that is also the reason for another kind of distress....
