Hey friends,
I want to know who out there would want their lips to be bigger than they are. In light of recent hollywood claims we are led to believe that the average size lips just don't get it any more as far as the sexy factor goes. So now everybody is out there getting the lip injections and botox all shot up in their lips in order to make them bigger and supposedly more volumptuous? So do you you think you would look better with bigger lips or not? Also do you think that most women are prettier if they have bigger lips? I'm talking about the lips on our faces guys...... Thanks for your response, hee hee hee, have fun but don't get down in the gutter with this, I want to hear from you if you got something of quality to say!

Okay, we'll count you out rg0205 but when I decide to get my aquarium back up and going I'll know exactly where to come looking for a couple of goldfish. The last time I had some I wound up killing them because apparently I wasn't able to keep the tank clean enough, I guess there must be some kind of a science to it. As it seems some people can keep them going with no problems at all then others of us really have to work at it. Maybe that's the way it is with the lips too. If at first they don't succeed maybe they need to go back and try it again. Happy mylot and thanks for a good laugh.......... heh hee hee.

Ok I guess my lips could be a wee bit fuller, but I'm not going to go have surgery or collagen injections or anything like that. If I were going to go in for something it would probably be a tummy tuck or something to make my darn cheeks look a little bit less chubby. But honestly I could fix those two problems myself by just losing some weight.

Thanks for sharing my friend, the truth is, just about everyone of us could stand to have a little something done in order to plump up or diminish. Now I'm not advising anyone to go out and do any of these things. My advise is to work on what you can to build up or get rid of then if there is something that you still aren't satisfied with and you have the money to splurge, go find a reputable doctor and talk with them about it. I'm not totally against plastic surgery. I feel that some people could actually benefit from it. But those that are just out there doing it, simply because they have the money. Or because they happen to think something isn't slanted just right or perfect. That's the sort of thing that I am against. As none of us are perfect, neither were we meant to be. We'd probably be a lot better off in the long run if we just decided to leave well enough alone. But once again this is just my thoughts........... Happy mylot.

Wow that was a quick response...... Dog gone! technology is something else isn't it? Anyhow you are right, some people do go too far with it. Being that I worked in the beauty industry it's something that I've monitored quite closely over the years. It appears that lip injections are one of the safest and easiest procedures anybody could have done. Hopefully if you ever decide to go get it done, it will come out looking like you've hardly had anything done at all. But maybe just a tiny bit of difference. That's the way it's suppose to look. But then again with any kind of surgery there are always risk involved. Which is why I say ur probably better off in the long run to just leave well enough alone. Also you'd have to go back in about every six months to have it redone. That's what I don't really like about it. I'd rather do it one time and have it all behind me....Plus you could always make them more plush by buying the proper color lipstick and lip liner (Works wonders) and taking it just outside ur natural lipline..

I do not think that big lips are sexy at all. I have lips that are considered big and everyone tells me that I have great lips, but I do not think so.
I look at Angelina Jolie and it looks like her lips are taking over her face. I really do not see the appeal.
I look at women with normal lips and I think they are beautiful.

I would not get a lip reduction, but I am just saying having big lips isn't the greatest thing in the world. Men are constantly hitting on you, everyone is envious of you, and it has almost become normal to have big lips. My big lips are natural, I have had them since I was a child, I guess that it is because of my genetics, but do I think that all women should have them? No. I like actresses and women who have normal lips because it makes them look natural. You don't have to have big lips to be beautiful.

Well thanks for responding rogue13xmen13, most of the people in the world do happen to all agree that Angelina Jolie isn't exactly a bad looking woman. I'm sure that if you look anything like her then you are just fine. Sometimes we have to learn to love those things about ourselves that are different and embrace it because it's all apart of what makes us who we are. If in deed you are serious about disliking your lips you could always go for the reverse botox affect and have them chiseled away. But would you really want to take things that far? I suppose that is the question.

i think it depends on the face shape.it may suit some and may not suit others.i would have to see a pic of person .but now a days big lips are a desirable features.so i would be envious.why are you blessed with both.

Uhhh, I'm curious if you are asking me a question here or if you are simply making a statement when you ask at the end of your comment, Why are you blessed with both? If you are asking me about my lips I wouldn't mind if my top lip was slightly plumper but for over 40 something years I've been able to do just about everything that I've wanted to do with them and lip size has never been a problem, so I'm only left to believe that what I have is what I was meant to have. Every now and then I will bite the inside of my jaw but that's only when I get in a hurry and try to eat something too fast. But as far as the outide is concerned I really don't have any problems with them. So, thanks for asking!

lips should only be big to a certain degree. A guy doesn't a fish sucking on his face. Well unless he is in to that. (Everyone is different x])
Nice lips are slightly just slightly plump. I believe it has something to do with the subconscious and hormones. That make bigger lips seem sexy. When a woman is aroused her lips get slightly redder and bigger. Hence why lipstick was used so widely. It is just a stimulant for arousal.

Thanks for commenting Purebitz but we must be careful to speak only for ourselves regarding the issue. I mean some guys might just enjoy having a goldfish sucking on their face as you've sort of mentioned. As for why lipstick has been used, I think that sort of varies as well. Most women simply use it as part of their entire make up regime. I mean a woman would look incomplete if she had the eyes all done up, the cheeks all blushed up but nothing on her lips, don't ya think?

Yes big fat lips are good for the males, so that he can chew a lot during kissing her and there is also plenty to kiss.
The main problem is big lips will look good on some woman, particularly with red lip gloss, it makes you kiss her immediately, at the same time, the same big lips will look ugly on another.
Of course, now days, when woman go for botox injections, in their lips, the doctor shows, them a computer stimulated picture, so that she can know how she will look, after the botox theraphy.

hello,
I know most of women love to make themselves look good in many ways. However, I don't... I love the way I am and I dont want to change anything that is not me. My husband love big boobs but after I have two children and I breath fed them then my boobs went down half... he wants me to fix them but I said NO... I am scare of pain and I dont want any harm to myself. I also told him, if you love me then you have to accept who I am.

This discussion reminds me of the movie The First Wive's Club where Goldie Hawn's character keeps going in for collagen injuctions! I'm not sure why we started liking them other then trying to be like some of the women in hollywood who possessed the natural or even naturally enhanced pouty lip. I agree with others that it does not suit everyone, and I myself cannot see myself ever getting botox. If I want to ingest botulism, I can do it with a dented can of expired food. (Not that I'd truly want that either lol).
As for other enhancements I am actually looking at having a tummy tuck done by the same surgeon who did my daughter's ear surgery. However, she advised me to wait until they were in school because of the recovery time, or at least when I was in a position of not having to lift ANYTHING for the full 6 weeks of recovery time. She gave me some handouts that opened up my eyes to just how invasive even a tummy tuck is, but I want this for me. I've been losing weight, but my stomach is still stretched from having a total of 6 children. (I have four from my first marriage). It's not to impress anyone else. It's for me to feel comfortable when I exercise, sleep, and so forth. So I am all for that type of surgery.

Thanks a bunch for the advise. I love my daughter's plastic surgeon and that is who I would have do it. She's bit on using first case rooms (meaning her surgery patients are the first ones in the room of the day). She's also very particuluar. She did some surgery on a co-worker of my husband's and she was very pleased.
Glad to be a part of your discussion. Have a blessed evening.

Hi Anora, nice seeing you around here. I can certainly understand you wanting to do something nice for yourself. I've had relatives to have the procedure done and so far they've all had good results. They've been very happy with their new looks. So my only advice is to be sure to find a good surgeon if you plan to go through with it and as far as no heavy lifting afterward. That's a must. You're daughter would be a real angel to help you out. If you lived near me I'd come over and help you out myself. take care and wishing you all the best. Be sure and take some before and after shots, so that ur mylot friends can cheer you all the way to the finish line. Thanks for participating. Happy mylot!

Have you ever seen Daisy from "Rock of Love" and "Daisy of Love"? Personally, I really don't want to end up looking like her; it's so fake. I like myself the way I am, moles, warts, and all.

Hi friend, yes I've seen Daisy of love and yes her lips are Fairly large in size. But she has a small frame so they don't exactly look too bad on her if you asked me. Although I wouldn't want to look like her either. I guess she's okay for Daisy, She really do seem to be driving a few of the guys up there crazy, lols. Yeah, it's best to learn to love ourselves just as we are. Simply because over the course of time there are many things about us that will change. So we can't keep running back and forth changing everything about ourselves. It would only become a vicious nightmare. Happy mylot!

To be frank I think not so big, but girls with bigger lips will look more sexier than normal ones. Its true that lips are not the only factor in beauty, but lips can contribute its bit towards being sexy. So I would like to see girls with slightly big lips
Have a lovely time

thanks for sharing your preferences taztheone. Well I've been told that i have some of the most beautiful lips that have ever been seen upon a woman before. Just had to throw that out there because it was such a nice compliment given to me by someone that was once a very special part of my life. Since this person wasn't exactly known for telling lies I had no other choice but to take it as a compliment. Hee hee hee!

Hi citychic, i never want a bigger lips..no offense towards anyone here, but i think it is just funny for someone to inject something in their normal lips to get Angelina Jolie's lips. Is it worth it if something goes wrong? Sooner or later as we getting older, our lips will be getting thinner and thinner, it is just weird with all the hidden wrinkles (but still can be obvious) but here.. pop up a voluptuous lips.

Hello de_angel, you make a very good point. Seems to me if I was goign to plump up anything on my face I'd go for more of the high cheek bones. But ya know friend, we all have flaws of some kind, in some way. For some women it happen to be their lips. So I guess you can't knock anybody for wanting something to look a little bit more fuller and symmetrical. Believe it or not, even I got a few things over here that I wouldn't mind plumping up if the truth be told. Yes, even Citychic has a few flaw, lols. But you know, I"ve had them all my life, so it's really no big deal at this stage in the game. So why should we sweat it if we aren't absolutely perfect? Chat back anytime!

To be honest, I don't really know why people are going gaga over plumped lips. Aside from the fact that they look all fake, it seems like someone has hit you and your lips are all blown up. Maybe it's really just because people don't really get contented of what they I have. I actually have naturally plumped lips and I think small lips are much more kissable. maybe that's really how life should be. Though I want to say that let us just let people do what they want, I still believe that the more appropriate lesson regarding this issue would be to keep it real/be yourself and be contented of what you've got.

I agree and I like your appropriate lesson. Although it I just so happened to come into a lot of money, like for example if I were to hit the lottery, think I won't go out and find me some reputable doc and ask him to give me what I been missing I guess it's just one of those things my friend. If you've always had it, then you can't say that you've been missing anything until it's gone. I fully agree that we should just let people do whatever they want as long as they are not hurting anybody else by what they are doing. If they happen to get messed up along the way then that's just gonna have to be their own life's lesson. Happy mylot! Do come again! It's been a joy chatting with you.

hai Citychic
first and foremost a bigger lips doesn't necessarily guarantee to raise your sexy-bar-o-meter :) ..frankly speaking, your lips needs to suits your overall facial features..i guess its just a Hollywood obsession, and we all know that girls do love to be seen pretty..and yes you can be pretty and sexy at the same time without the lip injection.
and by the way, Pam's boobs is not sexy...hehe
