OMG I can't believe I lost it?

This day has become one of the worst days, today I lost somthing really important while I was out, and I don't think I'll get it back and whats really upsetting, is that someone must have seen the item fallout of my clothing and they didnt return it, I'm really upset.

I do hope you have managed to get your lost item back it can be so stressful when we lose things that are important. I can't think of anything I have lost recently but I dare say I have lost lots of things in the past that have been dear to me but I guess I got over it!

Hi humbug25, yes its very stressful to lose something especially as important as what I lost, but unfortunately I dont think I'll ever get the item back and the worst thing about it, is that someone is out there possibly using my stuff, and thats really upsetting. but thanks for responding its always nice to read or hear comforting words because its nice to feel that someone cares.

One time I was shopping, and my pocketbook was taken right out of my shopping cart. I know that sounds like a dumb place to leave it, but I was very pregnant at the time and couldn't carry it around the store. I had it in the front of the cart next to me, and I bent over to get something off one of the lower shelves. It took a little time due to my condition, so I guess the person thought it would be the perfect opportunity to take it. When I stood back up, it was gone. The worst part was that it not only had my grocery money for the week in it but also my license, health insurance card, etc. Fortunately, the person turned it in to the service desk, minus the money of course, but at least I had my other identification back.

This sounds a lot like what happened to me recently, but the only difference is there wasn't a happy ending, and even the day after this happened meaning losing this important item, I cant stop thinking about it I'm still very upset at myself and at the person who took the item, and didnt return it whats the world coming to?
If I someone drop something important like that I would return it right away and not take it because I would not want anyone to feel like I felt and still feel.
