What qualities make your teacher a great teacher?

Being fair is something important for you as a teacher. But making teacher 'great' is affected by any other criteria's, such as how he/she deliver speech, etc. My favorite teacher is a good teacher because she understands her students very well, her way to deliver the lessons is excelence unlike any other teachers. =) And the way she gives us examination is very fair, never asked something which she hasn't explained before. I like that way.

there are many qualities must have to become a good teacher one is needs to take up a degree for masteral.secondly he/she should speak English very fluently.third,he/she needs to be updated to what is new in dealing with teaching strategies.also a good teacher listen to his students for any comments and suggestion.

Teaching is a noble profession. My idea of a good teacher (which makes him/her my favorite) is more of an Authoritarian in nature. Manages the classroom really well and makes sure she/he follows Adult Learning Principles by heart. I am not into Laissez Faire type with do-whatever attitude, coz sometimes, proper hold on the class is essential to keep focus. Ultimately, the goal is learning and skills development. Good day!

I think a great teacher is someone who can keep the class interested while teaching everything and allowing everyone to get good grades in the class. Basically, being a good teacher relies on the students a little bit. Because a teachers have different styles of teaching and everyone doesn't learn the same way, it is hard to classify this. But overall, a teacher who can handle the classroom well and still manage to teach everything they need to is really good.
