I am not a Feng Shui believer. I am not against the people who are following this Feng Shui teachings because it only shows the great faith oh these people. I bet to disagree about nothing to lose if I get to try some because I know a lot of people who spends a lot of money just to follow some of the Fen Shui teachings. There are sure ways of living life. Be practical.

there's nothin to lose if you'll follow some of its teachings. as long as you are not hurting others' people understanding, then that should be good.

If you haven't tried it don't knock it. That is how I feel, I know how important a person's space is to their whole out look on the world and am will in try anything that I can do to improve mine, especially if i can do so for little or no money.

I actually follow some of them but only those that seem to be practical and make some sense. I actually have to deal a lot of problems regarding it since I am an interior designer. There are things that have to be followed on feng shui that does not seem so practical anymore and would somehow destroy the whole plan for some interiors. But if there are really no negative results and especially if clients require it, I can still encorporate it in my designs. SO my rule regarding feng shui is that it's okay to follow it as long as it is practical. Some of the feng shui beliefs (for luck)which are also stuff I believe in (because they are practical) are the following: no doors facing each other; no headboard on the bathroom wall where the watercloset is located, etc. But if I have to tear down a wall or change the position of stairs or posts just because feng shui dictates it, I will most likely not follow it. There are just too much to consider (budget, labor, etc)
