book stores

What is your favorite book store? I love Barnes and Noble. They have a good selection of books. I wonder if a person gets discounts if they work for a bookstore.

HI bmuchler, this is your lucky day..haha...back 9 years ago I was working for barnes and Noble..and the discount is awesome! And I did love worked in there. Surrounded by books? Feels good.

I'm jealous. :) Then again, I would never have a paycheck! Probably safer that I haven't worked in one.

I work for the buyers. 3 of my bosses always get new samples book, and they decide to order or not for the store. Every morning they used to give me hundreds of title to order for the stores stock.

I love Barnes and Noble, Borders, Amazon...if it has books, I'm there. I don't discriminate between booksellers, it all depends on who has what I want. I know several bookstores have amazing discounts for employees. I honestly wouldn't mind a job in a bookstore, just for that fact alone!

I was thinking about that too actually, although, I probably wouldn't have much of a paycheck. But I could drool over all the new releases...*sigh*. I already sort of have my "dream" job, but that would increase my happiness!

Working in a bookstore is most likely my dream job. I am a book worm. Maybe I can do holiday work.

I love amazon because they have by far the largest collection of new and used books on the history of the earth. Plus it's easy to use and have a lot of cool apps and shipping discounts.

I have to be honest, I really don't have a fave bookstore. I love them all. Call me a nerd, but I could spend hours in a bookstore just looking.
