I baked some Cookie nuggets today!

I brought a pack of store brand refrigerated cookie dough. They were snickernoodles. When I got home I pulled them out and placed on the cookie sheet, waited about 20 minutes before baking them so they could thaw out. I set the oven temp to 325' per the instructions. I let them bake for 15 minutes and when I pulled them out, they were the same size as when they went into the over only browner. No, they were hard at all. I was so disappointed that I didn't get a palm size cookie. So I call them cookie nuggets. Not gonna buy that brand again just to save money, it ain't worth it. The chocolate chip came out okay. Have your store brought cookies ever disappointed you before?

I find that I always end up with crispy cookies with premade dough. I have even tried combining several of the split apart ones to make bigger cookies and cook the same amount of time. They are soft at first, but they still harden up. I think it is because the dough has extra preservatives or maybe less liquids that make then end up crispy, which I hate. I much rather just make them from scratch or not have them at all.

Did you read the directions? I didn't know that you were supposed to thaw them before baking. But then again, I don't buy cookies. I usually make them from scatch. HHHMMMM--I think it is about time to bake again! Thanks, I think I will get right on that in a ay or two.

No, but I did buy about 4 buckets of cookie dough from my grandkids, that they were selling for the school, and we always have fun cooking them in the oven! The kids have a lot of fun, because they get to help and help eat them too !

I have some cookies right now that are store bought slice and bake cookies but ar not that super tasty cookies. I think they are some of the worst slice and bake cookies that I have tried. I just think they are OK but not really super delicious.
