Supervisors are the ones who supervise their subordinates, right?
But what if instead of acquiring useful knowledge from your superior, you just cannot seem to rely upon him/her because you think that he/she is incompetent.
It is so right that if you can't understand certain things about your work, you would turn to your immediate superior to ask some help or ask guidance, but it is so unusual that your supervisor always ask questions on you because she can't understand the things that supposedly her responsibility to make some further improvement on certain processes. What do you think is the best way to cope with this kind of situation??

I agree with you that supervisor should be the one to supervise the subordinates, thus I would suggest you people talk to her once for all and remind her the duties she is supposed to do and then her status too. Because such people will nevr understand if the matter is not raised up.

My boss is very controlling and manipulative. She thinks she knows everything (which she does not) and if anyone, heaven forbid, proves her wrong then they get retaliated against with extra work, more travel, and harsh reviews.
Work takes up most of our life so it should at least be somewhat enjoyable. Oh well, here goes another Monday...

It is true it can happen in any case. Human beings can commit mistakes very naturally. In my team, my boss is not capable of many things. He also feels furious if anybody points these mistakes.I think it will be good if one can try to help the boss in saying he/she wants to work together and improve on certain areas.
