Just be yourself. Be nice, respectful, definitely don't expect anything of the girl. If something goes awry don't worry about it, make a joke to lighten the mood. Just because one or two embarrassing or bad things happen, doesn't mean the whole date is ruined.

A first date is always special, so dress well, but not flamboyantly. Cool and discareat. Take a small gift or flowers for her when you pick her up. When on a date, take her to a small but decent restaurant or a big five star hotel, as per your pocket, and talk to her. Get to know each other. If she is the shy type, bring her out of it with your ease. Never ever try to be fresh on your first date. It sends out wrong signals, unless you both are in love and know each other.
