What makes a friend?

I am wondering what qualities you think are needed in a friend. What makes them a good one from an acquaintance and what is something they can dothat's a deak breaker.
For me I have to trust them and has to be open to get to know. I dont care much about their different opinions regarding religious moral values or how they live their lives unless there friendship values clash with mine.

I have many pack of friends whom i got from the organizations that i joined. The quality common to these friends of mine are that they are trustworthy.
True that your friends may be of different principles, religion or backgrounds but you accept because they are good listeners, they cry with you, they laugh with or at you and can give advises to your misery.
