HAve you ever baked a cake for your friend's birthday and send her with a bouquet and a card as a gift to her ? she she liked it ? how was the reaction ? was it a surprised gift for him or her or was he/she knowing it before that you'll be sending it.

I'm terrible at baking but my best friend baked me a chocolate cake for my birthday last year as a surprise. I knew she was going to be at my house when I got home but as I walked through the door, the ligths got turned off and she came out the kitchen with my cake. My fiancee and her fiancee was singing happy birthday as well. It was brilliant, I had no idea they were going to do it.

Yes it was just today that I baked a cake for my younger sister for she is leaving home and her birthday is forthcoming. My son is four years old. He loves cakes. We bake a cake on his every monthly birthday.

No I don't know how to bake cake. I can do simple cookies and pastries but not birthday cake. If I need to give a cake to a birthday celebrator I would buy one from my favorite bakeshop and would choose his/her favorite color as motif and would put the sweetest birthday greetings on top of it. I've seen birthday cakes which states "Happy Beerday!" which to me is not funny at all. If I receive a cake with that greetings on my birthday, I would throw the cake away!

I took cake decorating classes. I love doing this type of stuff so yes. It's always a generous gift that will be loved.
