Are PTC sites dying?

There are very few ads or almost NO ads on most of my favorite sites. (Still Matrixmails is promising. Linkgrand continuing to be as it was.) Wordlinx - gone very much down in the last 3 months. Even after their junction site, there is not big improvement. Clixsense - had to introduce referral earnings (at least for premium members). Changed their policy of upgrading using member earnings. Donkeymails and No-minimum - Forced to reduce their PTP rates. Bangthelinks - Seems to have gone with the wind. It seems, only the never-paying BUX sites are having some ads to click. Are PTC sites dying? If you think YES, what will be the next source of earning to those members? (I really can't think what could be the reply this question)
