If given a chance... where would you work? In your country or abroad?

I really don't know... I want to work abroad for experience and adventure. Since its so hard to find a job in our country, why not?! But if given a chance, of course I really want to work and serve my country. It's the thought of being away from my family, my friends and special someone that made me stay. I can't stand being away from them...

I really prefer to work in my country. It's true that its hard to find a job nowadays, and even if you have a job the salary is not enough for starters to help their family. I like to go abroad to have a vacation but if life is hard, I might go abroad to work and it will really help my family so much. But having a work abroad and far from my love ones is hard and it makes me insane but if I will think of the benefit, I might last long to that country for my love one's sake. But as much as possible, I will stay with my love ones and friends.

I want to travel abroad but not to work. It will take a lot of adjustments if you live and work abroad. I love traveling but only for the purpose of spending a nice vacation with my family and not to pressure myself to work and adjust to the culture and deal with other people. I like working online and I can do it here in my country.

If given the chance plus the status of the economy in my country. I would definitely want to work abroad. What's keeping me away from trying??? I guess it's my family, friends and LOVE. If my current salary can keep up with the expenses, I am still staying. Right now with prices going up. I'm actually praying that GOD would send me to another country where I can earn more at the same time experience quality time with different cultures. I'm checking out Canada for any job openings because for me Canadians are very kind, sincere and polite people. I've met several of Canadians and they are WONDERFUL people.

I have worked as a children's nanny in Finland. I spent four months in the Netherlands studying. I got a working holiday visa for Australia. I worked there as a children's nanny, a factory worker and a charity collector. I love traveling and I prefer working in my home country and then having leisure time overseas.

I cannot make up my mind right now if I would go work abroad. I love to go and stay in other countries because i believe its much better and plus I got to go shop more clothes and shoes and bags! lol. Although like you, I have to leave my loved ones behind, and that's not a good thing. But my boyfriend after we graduate from college says he has to go abroad and work for like 5 years. Oh my, I just remembered that now while responding to this discussion :( So half of me is thinking wether I should go abroad to follow my boyfriend by then cause I don't think I could stand not seeing him that long. But, I have to leave my family behind. On the other hand, my mom wants me to go abroad and work there cause she knows I would earn more there I'm the only one who just keeps on saying no. I really don't want to go abroad. I have given that statement to almost like everyone but I think I'm beginning to change my mind right now..

well, I think it all depends. for example, I want to study in another country, so I'll probably have to work for rent and food. plus, when I'll be studying I'll move to another country, so it's obvious I'll have to also work there. then again, those who don't intend to move abroad indefinitely and just wish to work but not live there, must consider the differences between the job in mind.

Oh yes that's my stand before, not to be away from the family, that's why I did'nt grab the chance of working abroad. Should still be given a chance, however, would certainly go, it's the only way for us to improve our way of living. Those who are working abroad, their families really enjoyed their lives here. They can buy everything they want.

i think if you really don't stand being away from your family, please work in your country.our life is so short that there is only very limited time to stay with our family and our friends. of course, perhaps it is very hard for you to find a job recently, but if you don't give up immediately, you would be given a chance finally. please truse yourself,i believe you will be successful.

What ever may be the opportunities abroad, sooner or later I would still prefer working in my own country rather than abroad. You can find high paid jobs abroad, but money is not everything and after earning abroad for a couple of years, I would definitely like to come back to my own country and make my living and definitely the my country.

It is good to work abroad because that is a really good experience and can give us much high salary but I don't want to work abroad or in other country because I feel that if I work outside the country, in just one or two weeks I will really feel home sick. I don't want to get away from my family. I want to visit other country but just for a vacation. I want to have vacation there with my family.

Its a matter of choice and your sacrifice is needed. Since there are lot of jobs offered abroad and you know that you will be well compensated there, then why not try. Maybe its now time to keep distance from your loveones, its not the fact of being selffish but it is also for their benefits....you earn not only for yourself but also for them, right?

i would love to work abroad in Australia or the U.S.A, whether that would be possible from a moneyetry point of view and also from the current economic problem. Although i would hate to go and leave behind all my friends and family.

Yeah i was given a chance to work then i would definitely work at my own country..because i want to serve for my country..if i had to go abroad then i have leave all my family members alone and i would miss them alot too.If any problem exist then there would be no one familiar to me and i would have to suffer. But in here there would be my family who would solve all the problems. So i would prefer to work at my own country..

I am not inclined to work abroad because I feel that the money that I could earn there is not enough to compensate for the difficulties inherent in working outside of your country. Even if I bring my whole family there, there would still be a million and one things that I have to adjust to that will not be worth the extra money in the end. The fact that you were able to work abroad means that you have the ability to work in your own country, just for less moolah. But if it just for a short time, like a few months, I would grab the opportunity just so I can have more materials for my online writing!
