I'd like to start a thread to allow and encourage people to share simple tips and tricks we find on the computer. Let me start by sharing something I found useful shown to me by my son the other day: Do you sometimes find the menu bar on MSIE (MS Internet Explorer) has gone missing? I find this very annoying. I know there are settings to show it but these are IN one of the options IN the menu bar and if you want to use it and it's gone missing what t do? Well, simple solution: Press the ALT key and the menu bar will re-appear. I find this very useful little tip. Anybody else like to share some?

I use these shortcuts quite often....
1. press Windows key+D to minimize all current windows to show the desktop
2. Alt+tab to switch from one application to other applications
3. Windows key + L to lock computer
In MSIE I used F11 to disappear the menu bar
