Aren't you forgetting something?

AS we aged we tend to forget things right? But I'm totally envious of those people who are still sharp even if they're old already. Last sunday I went to church alone, and because it was raining cats and dogs, I have to bring my umbrella, When I was about to go inside, I left my umbrella to the counter because it's soaking wet. After the church service it was all sunny. So then I went home, And when I'm home already I noticed that I'm not holding any umbrella. SO i had to go back to get it. Do you have any "I forgot!" experience that you can't forget?

hi ivygrey well usually I am very sharp and I am elderly but my one'
downfallhas been a jacket. you come into a cafe, you feel too warm, so off goes the jacket. so you eat,pay the bill and are gone. then suddenly you realize I m chilly,oh oh,myjacket,so you go back to
the cafe, you ask the cashier if someone has turned in a jacket, an'she says all big eyes innocent no noone has. so you leave but the next day you see the jacket that was yours now on a waitress who is eating in the cafe on her day off. she turns red and then believe it
or not she takes off the jacket and says, sorry this is yours right. I nod and walk out.I will never let her serve me again.

Haha.It is normal that we forget something occasionally.Last week I was very busy and one morning I was hurried to put my lunch in a bag and began to wash and eat breakfast quickly. Then I left home to school leaving my lunch on the desk.Until middlenoon when I was going to eat lunch I relized that I miss my food at home.It does not matter, sometimes we are just thinking another thing and forget some little case.

These type of incidences are man in my life. You can say my habit of forgettig things are very weird. Most of my forgetting habit is regarding put things at different place and then forget when i placed my stuff. Most of the time i put like keys in fridge, once i kept it in computer cabinet. so it is very common for me to forget things.
But most of the time when i forget something ,feel like miss something. I feel some different feeling when i forgot something. In that case my sixth sense is very powerful. But i cannot recall at that time what is missing. So i am trying to increase my memory power.

The things we always tend to forget are the one's which really is not a part of our daily life,I guess so.The umbrella may not be always carried and many such things too,I sometimes take my motorcycle and forget to take the keys out of it,I have been lucky so far in not losing the keys.
The habit is always to keep our belongings and things of daily use close to us and when we think of any new thing we had before we would remember and then get worried and well waste a lot of our time.

I am constantly forgetting things. Unfortunately, I forget tasks that my husband asks me to do more than anything else. My purse is often left at home when I have to run into town for something, dinner that is cooking on the stove gets forgotten until something like a pan of water starts to burn...(yes, it is possible)...and I forget to grab at least 5 items or more when we are coming back home from a trip. Lucky for me, most people are forgiving of my forgetfulness.

of course and that is umbrella and cellphone too. when I am leaving at home going to work, I do have one bag and if I have another bag or something I hold externally out from my bag it will definitely lost, so I put it all in my bag. About the forgetting problem, I do have that, I even don't know the name of my previous classmate like that of elementary classmate. We I got to meet them in the street I will say "uy" and smile , but deep inside I am asking "who is that?". I am weak in dates too and some events.

Yes this is a common one that seems to happen and my opinion on why is for everyone that has an umbrella and it stops raining is just so happy not to have rain they forget it. I forget my head if it was not fastened to me anymore for I used to remember so much I think I burnt my remember out. I still can remember numbers pretty good but only certain types. I know I took care of my uncle for 14 years and it seems the more I did for him the less I remembered what I needed to. I am currently writing a lot to do list out and it helps but I even forget to do things with a to do list so normal maybe who really knows. Old age setting in maybe for I am still under 40 and think I might have a touch of altimer's already. I went out the other day to get hubby pepto and for got it remembered other things but the one I went to get in the first place I forgot I write it up to kids for they were bugging for things and having to remember something was like not happening. Hope this helps you.

Gosh, I can;t even remember the last time I have not forgotten something! lol. I forget things a lot, and a pretty bad habit it is. Perhaps maybe its because of the thought of me rushing every morning when I'm preparing for school. I tend to cram and rush on things a lot. I have this habit of doing all the things in the morning you see, so i guess this is mainly because I have so many things in mind, plus the thought of being late. :)

i am smiling that even someone who is a lot younger than i am does that too.
of course, i forget things every now and then. that was one of our interesting topics in the office last week. we were teasing each other on things that we forgot.
they all burst into laughter when i asked one of them, "what did u say ur name was?"
(additionally, that is one of the things that i left anywhere, umbrellas. it could have been a store-ful already had i counted on them, )

It irritates me whenever I forget anything, especially the small things that are practically on the tip of your mind, yet you just can't fully remember them.

Sometimes maybe. When there are lots of work for me to do,I often forgets something I planned to do .But I don't think it's my fault, people can't remember too many things except it has become his/her routines. If you have to handle so many tasks, then if could be common for you ,nothing matters.Otherwise, when someone is thinking 3 or more thins at the same time, you can imagine...

I tend to forget things as well, and I should not forget things.
