I need some opinions on buying a new tv. Have seen many ads on tv and internet but still cannot make up my mind.
Can anyone here help me share their experiences.

i think, lcd is the way to go, simply because lcd tv, the clarity of a lcd tv compared to a plasma tv is much much better and i got both a plasma screen and a lcd screen as well, and i think lcd is much better and the way to go. do think plasmas are slim anymore because lcd's are also slim now a days even more than the plasmas. so go for lcd.

I went window shopping the other day and was told to wait for a couple of months till LED tv's get popular resulting in cheaper LCD's and Plasma's. Or are they the same. Looking for a screen size 52" and over.

I personally own an LCD TV. We've had it for about 2 years now and it works fantastic. Great picture, easy to set up the HD quality is spectacular. Works great with video games too without the worry of burn-in like Plasma TVs. The only thing is that LCDs are slightly more expensive.

Thank you for your reply. What is the screen size of your tv. Read it somewhere that Lcd over 32" don't do well concerning picture quality.

Hey Someonee,
Well My opinion is LCD, it lasts longer than Plasma. And LED to me does not have that great of a picture! If you get a new television I recommend a 1080P at 120HZ, the picture is amazing.. Especially if you own a Blue Ray player?!?! When I watch a movie, I literally feel as if I am filming it! lol...
