After my horse Major has to be put down I never expected a tribute for him! I knew this would happen because I was contacted by a boarder from the stable. A placque or a sign if you want to discribe it was put up in the barn at that the stable. it goes like this: In Loving memory of Major,Missed by all,Loved by all. "Somehere....somwhere in time's own space there must be some sweet pastured place where creeks sing on and the tall trees grow. Some paradise wher horses go,for by the love of that guides my pen I know great horses live again." I wanted to share this with all the horsey people on Mylot! I miss him and Major will never be replaced!

What a wonderful tribute to your beloved Major! It must be such a bittersweet moment when you see that plaque. How touching to know that he was a horse that made an impact and that others share in your loss.
