Being an international student is expensive enough, isn't it ?

I'm wondering why the country sets different tuition fees, one for 'home' students and another for 'overseas' students. In my opinion, education is one good and growing so-called-bussiness nowadays. Everybody needs education, but lot just neglect it. It's a pity for those students whose dream is as high as stars above to study abroad, but the economic gives them another storyline.
If you're an international student in one country, and you're now facing the truth that you (or your parents) don't have sufficient funds. What will you do next? Will you still go study abroad ? Or just stay home and study there? Bear in mind that study abroad is your since-childhood-dream.

Hi there, thank you for commenting my thread. I agree with you, SOME schools have scholarship available for international students to fight for one. But not EVERY school has one. And to be able to qualify as scholarship winner, there are a lot of requirements candidate must pass. =)

hi charlies,
I am from India and education if you study in govt colleges is very cheap here and if you compare with your country it is dirt cheap. Yes there is difference in fees for the local students and fees for the foreign students simply because govt of India and local governments subside education a lot so the guys who are getting education would build a better country. The educated public would make for progress of India and why would they subsidies education of a foreigner who would go to his country and make that country better. If anyone has to subsidse the education for him it has to be their government and not the Government where he has gone to study. It is simple logic. Also you can see the difference, as the study costs mount in west and people are not able to give very good higher education to their children , the effects are slowly being felt that children from these countries like India and China are taking up most of good jobs in west at expense of local population because the government there did not invest in higher education and not everyone could afford the costly education there.
