I drink bottled water I will not drink tap water because it is not as clean as bottled water. I use bottled water in everything from cooking to drinking. The only way I will use tap water is if I boil it. Boiling water kills all the bacteria and germs. It makes it more clean and pure. Bottled water already if filtered and cleaned really nice. It is ready to drink. Which is really nice and convienent. It's all ready to go nothing to it. My choice would be bottled water.

I just drink the tap water because of the convenience and a lot cheaper. I just have to boil it before I drink it. I do buy the bottled water to store in an emergency kit in case there is a blackout or earthquake.

We also drink tap water because the bottled water is expensive and some commercial water refilling station is not that clean. Our water provider usually got a sample for water testing every month to ensure the safety of it. We are very abundant of water supply now that our dam is overflowing because of the typhoons that are coming in succession. I never heard that our water standard is next to New Zealand.

yes to bottled water. we have a water dispenser for the purified water at home for our use and in the office, we have one too.
but mind u, we should not be 100% assured that inside that bottled water is clean purified water. law enforcement agencies caught one company sourcing water for their bottle purified water from the lines of the water district company here.
oh, those enterprising businessmen!

I use a Brita Water filter pitcher for my tap water. I drink bottled water some as well. I like that there is not as much bacteria in bottled water compared to tap water. If it is all I can afford at the time though, I will drink tap since it does not cost as much as bottled water does.

When I was a child, I see no problem drinking tap water. But now, I do not drink tap water anymore. I have heard many instances where people got sick drinking tap water due to contamination. I am just playing safe. I would rather spend a little more for bottled water rather than spend a lot after getting sick drinking water that may bring some health problems.

I have a filter that I use. From everything I read, the tap water is the same as what's in the bottle.

I drink battled because then I know I am getting my 2ltrs a day, but only for that reason. Australia has the best drinking water you can find, from a tap. But I cook in tap water, only because I save the bottled for myself. The bottled water tasets better at room temp. It's easier for me to take one on the way to work & I buy one at work while on the registers. But if I had not bottled it would not bother me....I have filled my bottles with tap water....come with living in a great county.

My water comes from the well. I think it is just as good as tap water. I do still ocassionally buy bottled water but it is mostly for the convenience of it. I don't like having to throw the bottles away though. If our electric goes out we use the well water too, because the electric pump doesn't work.

Hey There!
When I was a small child I remember drinking tap water a lot more. Even then it was rare. When in High School I remember us having jug spring water and my aunt had one of those Polar water systems in her house. It is so common now to buy jugs or bottle water . I get the cheaper bottle waters and its always spring . Its good for on the go and walking which I do so much. Now if I drink tap it taste so different , but I use it for meds.

hello tuckersheri^^;;Tap water is not safe in my country. Although it maybe safe from the source but the pipes it passes through to my house is the one not safe. I don't use commercial bottled water as it is unsafe too due to the process it was bottled and there might be a chemical reaction from the bottle itself from the time it goes out to the manufacturer and was traveled and distributed. We have any water filtration/purification shops where we can refill big bottles (5gallons) of safe drinking water since it undergo different stages of filtration or purification.
It's also cheap so it's economical to use it for cooking and i use it too when brushing my teeth.^^;;

I prefer to drink bottled water than tap water the fact that it is more clean than any other water because it undergoes many cleaning and filtering process. I think that it is safe to drink water that are bottled. Because that if we get caught of disease it is more expensive to pay for hospital bills than this bottled water.

Depending on where you live most tap water is actually bottled water. Just because it says spring water or whatever doesnt always mean that check where its packaged a lot of times there's not even a spring near where it's packaged. Taking a drink from a fountain in the middle of Manhattan is better than bottled water because in major public cities the requirements for clean water is so high. I do however usually grab a bottle of water in the morning then once I drink it refill it at a fountain at school. I use tap water for everything at school.

In household, bottled water is not so common here in our city. Usually, bottled water is used with new born babies. Outside household, I'm not so confident to drink tap water so I buy bottled water.
I'm proud to say that our water here is the second best in the world next to new zealand. That according to our water provider. I love our water here. It's visibly clean, not highly chlorinated, and doesn't smell. (^_^)

I usually drink my water straight from the refrigerator tap. It is filtered and tastes better. I do noit drink our tap water because it is not very clean. I cook with it sometimes though. I also use bottled water occasionally.

I see you live in the United States and I am surprised you think your water is full of bacteria and germs. Most municipalities in the United States and Canada abstract guidelines they have to follow for their municipal water supply. The problem with bottled water is it has to be trucked from the plant where is filtered to the store where you buy it and then driven home in your car. You use a lot of gasoline to get that water to your house as well as all those plastic bottles that end up in the garbage.
The water that comes out of our tap is quite healthy and taste good.

Oh no, I will never drink tap water. It may contain a lot of microorganisms that cause gastrointestinal diseases. I usually drink distilled water at home, when I'm out I drink bottled water. Tap water will never be for drinking. its unhealthy.
