my nanna looked exactly like this icon (only bigger)

really its true! Right down to the green armchair which she always sat in...they must have modeled the picture on her, I swear. And I don't mean to be disrespectful either - my nanna had a wicked sense of humor and I can see her now saying to me 'Cheeky bugger' for saying this and having a cheeky grin on her face, pretending to swipe me across the back of the head. Ahhh...those were the days.

she certainly did and no doubt it was the cause of her arthritis...good job I don;t eat that much chocolate....DOH!!!!

I miss my grandma too; very much indeed. That's a very nice picture there. If only we could have a time machine to go back in time just to relive those moments..

I have no memories of grandparents, so I envy you your happy ones. However, I have five grandchildren (so far) and hope to leave happy memories for them.
