i have been a member here in mylot for three years now. but i have been posting on and off only. i have a question for those that are really active here. does your unresolved discussions in anyway affect your earnings?
what I mean is are you required to pick a best response in all of your discussions?
and do the numbers beside your name affected by these unresolved discussions? what do these numbers actually mean.
your help will be greatly appreciated.

No, they don't affect your earnings at all. This is one of the caveats of myLot because all discussions must have a "Best Response" but some of them don't really need one. I hope myLot will improve this area of the site. I know it's a bit worrying to see you got loads of "unresolved discussions" when some of them are really not resolvable. Or Maybe they just have to change the term "unresolved" so as to avoid confusion among members.

I'm not sure what the numbers besides those discussions mean, but I know for a fact that we dont' HAVE to choose a best response. It's optional. In my opinion, that "unresolved" tab is stupid and shouldn't be there. . Many discussions I've started (as well as ones I've seen other people start) - are OPINION-based, and since we all have our own opinions, it's nearly impossible to fairly choose a "best response" for them. I don't think choosing a Best Response makes you earn any more, either, unless you're the person RECEIVING the best response (but this is something that I've just assumed). I rarely mark best responses, unless someone wrote a truly significant response and I wanted to "thank" them for it.
