I'm new here & just wanted to introduce myself & see how all this stuff works =)

Hiya Korey, firs to all, a big welcome to you from me.. feel free to ask any questions when in doubt about using the site. It's a great platform for you to meet lots of people and seeing that you have created this discussion, means that you have managed to navigate yourself awesomely. For starts, don't overwhelm yourself with the details here. Just concentrate on answering discussions, commenting and creating your own too. Have you selected the notifier on the preferences tab so that you will be able to receive a notification like when someone answers to your discussion. Like what I'm doing here. Another important thing would be to slot in your PayPal email address on the preferences tab too, and make sure that you have set a minimum sum in order to receive payment from mylot once your minimum has been achieved. Without further ado, get yourself busy with mylot and I've requested a friend request to you.

Hello Korey and welcome to mylot. I like the way you up here talking so I figured what the heck I will take a few moments and get to know this nice lad. As far as breaking everything down for you to the knat's tail I'm not sure that I'm the one who can do that for you. As it will probably take each mylotter that you meet that will get up here and will show you different tips, tricks and strategies. At least that is what I'm hoping everyone will do. As it would be kind of difficult for one person to try to tell you everything, so my best advice it try to learn a little something from each one of us. Also for starters you need to really go back to your F.A.Q. section at the beginning of mylot and just begin to familiarize yourself with the rules. Nobody can really do that for you. I've been here a little bit over 7 months now and I still find that I often have to resort back to the basics. So once you've gone over mylot rules a few times then you will be ready to dig in here and get started. Please add me as a friend and then we can chat more through personal messages because that is the place where mylot has advise we chat at if we have questions pertaining to mylot or if we just want to send each other personal notes where we will have a little more privacy. So this is my little small introduction to you and you will learn more as you begin to read more of my discussion and do be sure to leave nice long comments. The main thing is to try to make sure that your comments are at least 4 lines long in length as you are being paid for content on this site. Oh and if you have questions about how much we are earning. We are only allowed to talk about it in a pm not out on the open forum. Be nice to everyone and always try to send responses back when someone respond to you. Follow these few rules and you should be good to go. Thanks for showing so much of your personality up front. Welcome to mylot, Pretty much you just respond to discussions and start your own. By doing so you will earn money. You want to make sure you post at least a couple sentences each time. Main thing is just to have fun.

Hi Korey, welcome to mylot! I hope you will enjoy it here. If you haven't already done so you should read the guidelines as well as the FAQ's which can be found at the bottom of the page. (Okay, well maybe just print these up if you can and go through it that way.) It might help you get the hang of things here. Mylot may not pay much, but they do pay. I've been here for 2 1/2 years now and have made a killing. Just kidding! LOL Just keep in mind the more you post, the more you can earn, especially when it comes to quality discussions/responses. Welcome aboard. You found a great forum and community. The first thing I would do is go to the bottom of the page and read the guidelines. Also, read the FAQ's. Too many people don't do that and end up posting all sorts of threads that violate those guidelines and their discussions are deleted by the moderators, they then post discussions about how their discussions are deleted which ALSO get deleted because those too are a violation. There is no magic formula here, no tricks or methods, it's all abuot quality. Start threads on topics that get people talking. Post thoughtfull quality responses to other threads. Avoid posting responses in threads that violate the guidelines, because those threads will probably be deleted and you will lose what ever you earned by posting in them when they disapear. Take some time and consontrate on posting in other people's threads until you get a feel for things. Once you have gotten comfortable, start a few of your own and then follow up on them when people reply to them. Make friends and add interests. Again, welcome aboard!

This is a nice place to socialize and get real time info on a lot of things. It's a bonus that you get a little money out of it in the process. I'm new here too having been doig this just 4 days now but its very easy - as you're hearing - just start discussions like this - as many as you can and want to and respond to other people's discussions and that's about it and watch your earnings grow for doing just those two things...the number in brackets seems to measure your 'activity' or 'participation' and this is what you;re getting paid for, I noticed it goes up when you respond to any discussion but doesn't go up right away when you start one - only when somebody responds t your discussion and then it onbly seems t count once regardless of how many responses you get. It's also polite to comment on people's responses but I don't think your score goes up when you do. Check out some discussions for ideas but you'll get the hang of it really quick, I'll add you as a friend too s feel free to ask if you need anything.
