I LOVE Musicals!! Though I dont watch the performance as often as I would like it :) Anything on DVD would be good as well, but real performance is much better.
Currently Im in Love with WICKED musicals as I have just watched it about 2 weeks ago... its amazing story, I love the singing as well. I even purchase the music sheet so I could play it at home (still learning though ahhaah)
Other musicals that I like is Sound of Music!! Totally love that :) and after that would be High School Musical (all 3 series of it) hehehe
I havent watched Mamma Mia yet, but would love to see it ..

I am not much into musicals, however one of my favorite movies of all time is Sound of Music. My all time favorite movie is Mary Poppins and I guess that is kind of a musical, but I never think of it as one.

Mine are...in no particular order:
Across the Universe
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street ....the Johnny Depp/Tim Burton version although I just learned the other day that one of those actresses that I adore but always forget when making a list of favorites (c'mon everyone has them), Christine Baranski, played Mrs. Lovett at the Kennedy Center.
Rent
Chicago (speaking of Christine Baranski)
Evita
Phantom of the Opera
Les Mis
Seussical hehe
