some days ago someone asked me to take a look at this site: paid2youtube. i joined this programme under him because i wanted to thank him for it. i think that this behaviour is correct and normal. anyway in the folloing days i started talking about this site on mylot in the right sections. i can say that a lot of users asked me to have the link. they promitted me to join under me. i referred about 10 people but only one of them joined the programme under me. i sent the right and complete link to everyone, but they cheated and pasted in the browser the link without the code for the referring. i know... everyone knows that you can't become rich with referrals. anyway to refer someone is something to say "thank you. i will refer the site as you did". i don't really care about money. i am here on mylot to have fun and make friends, to know other cultures. this is not the right behaviour.

wmaths, it's not 'cheating', it's called 'freedom of choice'. It's up to an individual if they want to use your ref link to join a site or not. It might be a bit disappointing or odd that they didn't join under you, I understand that, but ultimately, it's their choice, their decision. I've had several people join through me with the best of intentions and only a fraction of them have stayed active. Am I gonna have a go at them for incorrect behaviour? No. Some people join and forget - some start and stop - some see it through. It's human nature. Try not to take it personally. It's really not about you. Rather than focusing on the people that didn't join, focus on the one person that did and work on getting more people. take care...

but what i wonder is: why do their free choise is not to join under the referrer? perhaps that they are a bit gelous that he would earn some few cents more? sorry if i talk like this, but i am always sincere when i talk to intelligent people. :)

You're a bit upset. You're human. If I knew why "their free choise is not to join under the referrer", I'd be a very lucrative mind-reader. I don't quite see what jealousy would have to do with it, but everyone has their reasons. take care...

yes, i will keep spending my free time here on mylot. it was just an observation i wanted to do. i know that the world is divided into many groups. some behave in a certain way, others in another one. it depends on the points on view. :)
