How did falling in love happen for you?

I love to read of love...
If you can describe the feeling that it gave you, I would be happy to read your words.
For me, there are nearly no words, except that I know it was the very happiest, headiest time of my life.
My heart was lifted to the heavens, as high as I thought I could fly.
Of course, sometimes it happens, we are swiftly brought down to the earth with a big bump...but soon we may recover and live to tell the tale of love.
Also, once you had fallen in love, did the feeling ever go away?
I feel it still, even though distance and circumstance are in the way.
Tell me your tales of falling in love please.

it was never love at first sight. i got attracted gradually over a period of time to his views, conduct, personality.when i realised i am in love with him it was the best thing i have ever experienced.i was in a euphoric state .felt i can take everything in my stride as i have him by my side. i liked every aspect of him as an individual .though things got real bad between us but its still that deep within me though he is gone long enough.

I understand you neo. It is always too long when one still loves the person with heart and soul.
To fall in love instantly or gradually...both experiences are wonderful and I like the word you used..euphoria..it is indeed like that.
Thanks Neo.
Good Luck in Love!

Falling in love happened gradually for me also. When I got together with this guy in high school, I was basically testing out the waters. I was young, naive, and I tried to do things to mess up our relationship. My relationship before that ended badly and I was likely acting out, trying to hurt someone the way I was hurt. He stood by me and though we broke up, I couldn't get him off my mind. We got back together within something like a week I think and now we have been through 8 years with each other. I still get the butterflies in my stomach kind of feelings when we kiss and hold each other!!
