You don't need any special thing to do. Just plug in the hard disk drive at the given slot and the system will detect it automatically.
To plug in (install) the hard disk drive into the CPU, read your computer instruction manual or have a look here: http://www.helpwithpcs.com/upgrading/install-hard-drive.htm

Hey,
I don't really know how to install a new hard disk, sorry about this. Hopefully someone else will be able to answer your question better than I have done, in a really good way so you can actually benefit from it. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

Hi,Before setup of new hard disk you should be aware of certain things like while setting up hard disk the procedures would completely erase your hard and data stored in it would never be unrecoverable. If it is a new Hard disk that needs to be setup then this involves parttioning and formating of hard disk.If you have your Operating System (Windows 98 or ME) boot disk it contains the required software to perform this procedue.
Start the partioning & format procedure by booting your PC with the boot disk. And follow the steps accordingly and complete the process.

It's very simple..friend...first you open the CPU where you find one another slot of Hard disk..if you have already installed their one hard disk..then there is another second port where you attach the SATA cable.. after that one another cable connect to the hard disk..and monitor..then open the system...and check it carefully..
