Amongst all the contraversy. I don't know that I agree that "she" should loose the metals. Perhaps find somewhere or a catagory for "her" & others to legally compete in her sport. http://sports.yahoo.com/olympics/beijing/blog/fourth_place_medal/post/Semenya-withdraws-from-race-amidst-reports-she-s?urn=oly,188930

I don't think she should. The IAAF already allowed her to compete. So, I don't think it is fair that they take her medal! Anyway it is not her fault she is the way she is. Guys give her a break.

I don't think she should lose her medals if it is shown that her family didn't know about her condition and that she didn't know. For all she knew, she was just a masculine looking woman who could run really fast.

I feel so sorry for her--her privacy has been invaded and her secrets--that she wasn't even aware of!--have been exposed to the world. I do not feel she should lose her medals. She and her family had no idea that she wasn't technically female so there was no deception involved. I say they should leave the poor girl alone and let her keep her medals. She worked for them and was truthful as far as she knew.
