i love german shepherds! Because they are gentle, really intelligent and loving. I miss tag, our german shepherd who died years ago. I can't generalize i'm only picked based on the dog breeds that i have personal experience with. We've had a chow-chow, i hated the chow chow because it was really hard to teach; pugs although they are cute they can be really playful and annoying; dachsund, i loved our dachsund, kiwi; Pomeranians- they are cute too and cuddly but can be really feisty at times.

My favorite breed that I wish I had is the Golden Retriever. They're so lovable and playful.I like them because they're a family dog.I don't own one though,I have a Lhasa Apso.I love him and will keep him,I think the next dog I do get will be a Golden Retriever.

I have to say that I am one of the biggest dog lovers out there, love them all!!! At the moment however, we just have a small cat, but we do plan on getting a dog in the near future. I probably have a long list of favorite types, lets see: pomeranian, pugs, boston terrier, english bulldog, shi-tzu, maltese, havanese. I'm really torn about what kind of dog to actually get, see I really do love pugs but unfortunately because of all the cross breeding they have soooo many health problems. Everything from arthritis, their bulging eyes also pop out at times, their vet bills are astronomical because you really need insurance for this kind of dog. I knew someone once that had a pug, and it's eye kept popping out. Each time they would have to go to the vet to get it put back in. I believe that last time though they were unable to do so and had to get a glass eye made for the dog. Plus, it would be so hard to watch an animal suffer or in pain all the time. I don't know, I'd definitely want something small, soft & cuddly but not 100% sure yet. I remember when I was little there were these neighbors, 2 blocks down that had these two full grown pomeranians. Well, I remember these dogs would come by and visit us every single day after dinner and stay until we went to bed. My brother and I would just have so much fun playing with these dogs. It all came to an end one day though, when out of nowhere one of the dogs was hit by a motorcyclist, and strangely about a week later the other one was hit by a car? My bother and I said it was probably on it's way to see or coming home from seeing us. I'll never forget Taffy and Missy...You know I probably will pick a Pomeranian because I still get a little sad thinking about those dogs. I've actually head that Chows are actually quite stupid dogs and won't learn anything, not a german shepherd person either, though I can see how some people would really enjoy playing with them, because they're very physical.

I prefer Siberian Huskeys. They are very cute plus they kinda resemble their wolf ancestors. My favorite animals are either wolves or lions. I really like the color of Siberian Huskeys. Whether its the fur or the eyes, they are either cool or cute. Either way, they are really intelligent. My cousin had 2 huskeys and I'm a bit envious of him. In due time, I will buy my own to walk into town with.
