I really agree with you! Keyboard shortcuts are so useful and make computing that much more convenient. I have come to rely on them now and the more that you use them the more you tend not to forget them! I know of a useful website that I have subscribed to and it's very useful. You basically subscribe to it for free and you receive new keyboard shortcuts via email on a daily basis, like a newsletter. I have learnt so much by using this service and I share this website with you and everyone if you don't know of it already. The website is www.worldstart.com Here's to many more keyboard shortcuts to come! Andrew

There are many keyboard shortcuts that never get used because it is much easier simply using a mouse. A great number of shortcuts are legacy keyboard uses left over from the old days of DOS, when everything was done via the keyboard. Although some of these are still worthwhile if you are using command prompt. There are also shortcuts that change according to the programs open at the time. For example: If you are using a Word document and press Ctrl+P it will signify PRINT, but if you have an Audio program open then it will signify PLAY.

Yes definitely. Keyboard shortcuts are life savers. I am a sucker for shortcuts not just on windows but on different applications as well. When using Photoshop, shortcuts really make everything easier and it minimizes the strain your hands will get on having to use the keys and then grabbing the mouse. SOme of them though are just novelties but I think the basic ones should be required.

One of the shortcut I've been used excessively is F5 while surfing net. It reloads the webpage without having you to point the cursor to the button, which provides great convenient. Other shortcuts like copy, cut, paste are also useful, which have been posted in previous post. I do use Ctrl + A sometimes, to highlight all the text in the box, I am just too lazy to use the mouse :)
