I am online during a large part of the day and when I am online, I always have my email open in one of the tabs. So I check it every 15 mins or so. Its important, as otherwise we may miss important information. These days emails are the easiest form of communication and its needed for work. Besides, I prefer to check emails often so that I don't have 1000s of mails piling up in my Inbox.lol

I do check my email couple of time everyday. I consider it a necessity to check email because i am living oceans apart from my family. Our means of communicating is email or sometimes IM because phone calls are quite expensive. Spam folder is also regularly checked because there are some important mails sent there. Email is now an important thing of the present so basically i'll continue checking it until we have a new invention more advanced than email lol...Happy mylotting.

This is indeed the fastest way of sending letter to someone. Gone are the days when people send message to someone thru a telegram. It took them couple of days or even weeks to receive the message. Too late if things needed an immediate action. So lucky to have email... write now send now, read now, reply now....Too fast to handle sometimes lol

I have 3-email accounts, but only two of those really matter. The first one, on hotmail is for all the important stuff and I check it once or twice a day. The yahoo one is for not so important stuff and I've been checking it more now because of my return to myLot. Lastly, I also have a gmail account, which I check once a week or so.

Well, for me the time is 10-15 minutes. Actually, I spend most of my time being online even in college hours and thus keep checking for important updates or spam emails.
Inspite that, I have more than 4000 unread mails, I ignore most of them by just looking at the sender or subject and am really too lazy to delete them all.
Yeah, I also check my spam folder and regularly delete those mails.

I am bad about it but now that the kids are back in school i need to get into the habit of checking every day because sometimes the teachers send out an email to tell whats going on or about up coming projects and assignments.
