Spent hours just clicking the remote and not able to watch anything good!

I feel your frustration. I finally gave in and paid for cable. They hooked me up with a 100 channel package. There's only two or three channels that have anything I will even remotely watch and they are all running reruns. but about 80 of my 100 channels are ones nobody would watch. They are either running infomercials, or closed caption shots of the local streets or something else just an inane.

oh i know just what you mean. this used to be my problem plus when something good is finally on, they put something else just as good on another channel, that after nothing being on some days.. uuurrggg!! so, i solved that problem with my dvr. yes it costs 12 dollars more a month and they know they got you there, but at least i can have good things from different channels tape/record automaticly that i watch when nothing else is on.

I've got like 150 channels or something, but there are times when I can't find anything goood on either. You never know when there is just not going to be something that you want to watch on. I like most of the offerings on TV but sometimes there is just nothing on that strikes my fancy.

Well, I can certainly relate to you on this one! I have over a hundred different channels and there are times when I'm constantly flicking through the different programs and there's just nothing on, it's totally boring so then I decide to turn it to the news which I don't have to watch and I can just listen to whilst I am doing something else. There tend to be a lot of repeats on cable television and I don't mind some of them but others are just so irritating and I just have to reach for the remote control again! Well, I like movies and the best time for this is a Friday night! Andrew
