This Is A Sure Sign I've Spent Too Much Time Infront Of My Computer!!!

I was sitting in my dimly lit living room last night, working on my computer, when a fly, attracted to the glow of my laptop's screen, flew right infront of my eyes. I instinctively CLICKED ON IT! LOL It kept flying around in circles, and I kept moving my mouse around, trying to click the damn thing away. LOL Finally I realized what it was, and blew on it. That got rid of it. Have I been sitting infront of my computer for too long? LOL Anyone else ever tried to click something away from their computer, not realizing right away, that it was outside of the screen? My husband says I'm not alone, that he's done this too. LOL

I haven't done that yet. I have fell asleep though before while I was online and woke up later and though. Oh wow I better get off line and go to bed. I have been online to long today and I better go to sleep. I usally log off earlier then I use to when I first started using a computer.

Well I never heard of a mouse chasing a fly before. No I've never done anything like that, but I do get little black floaters in front of my eyes and am constantly "shooing" them away. I'm sure some people think I'm crazy.

Hey, Yea that is quite funny, yea I think that this has happened to me quite a few times. But it wasn't a fly in my case, it was a mosquito, but they are basically the same thing. Yes I think it is a sign that you need a break. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

That is really a good one about the fly. This has never happened to me and I make sure I have good time outs from the computer because my eyes already have problems. Don't need anymore lol.

LOL maybe you have been spending too much time online. You should take a walk outside if the weather permits it. It always seems to clear my mind and my eyes. It's really lush and green where i live.

Haha! That's really funny. I don't know if I had done something like that or at least had been on my laptop for a long time but I do spend a lot of time online. These last couple of days I notice my eyes getting bad because I stare too long in my monitor on a dimly lit room. I don't want to wear glasses so I have to take good care of my eyes and probably eat lots and lots of carrots.

Well, that's one very very interesting experience you had! When I sit at my computer and it's all dark I noticed little flies being attracted by the light of my monitor and it is funny! I try and intimidate them with my mouse but they seem quite stubborn! Anyway, your experience could relate to tiredness or something similar, I'm sure that it's nothing too serious though! Andrew

Hahaha! Honestly, this is the first time I heard about this, I will only notice that I've spent too much time infront of my PC if it's already time for breakfast!

Oh my, ha ha, that's a really funny experience. Really wacky and crazy. I haven't gone through something like that before, much more heard of anything like that ever. Probably it's because you've had the lights dimmed that it had an effect on your perception of depth and dimension that it looked like the fly was part of your screen. Or maybe you're right, you've spent quite some time in front of the computer.

That's funny! I am obsessed with my computer though. It is a terrible addiction. I treat it as though it is a fountain of eternal knowledge.

wow that is really funny for you to think that it was something on the net program rather than it is something outside your monitor. i thought it was really funny experience. you were really too much concentrated on what you were doing that nothing seemed to distract not even a pesky fly. It is good to know that you have fun doing things you are doing online. i too love to be that active online but does not have the motivation for some weeks now.
