Ever since my childhood, I have had a very peculiar dream occur every year, In the dream, Im running with other people to come out of a burning church. I get very upset at this though I have never experienced this for real. Do you dream the same thing twice? What do you think is the cause?

Dreaming the same dream repeatedly is definitely an indicator of something more going on inside you. Have you ever looked at the meaning of the elements of your dream? Ask yourself: what does church represent to you? And what would it mean to you to see it burning? Somehow you are RUNNING from it - so clearly you are trying to get away.
Some other approaches to understanding your dream: what are the emotions you are feeling? These emotions are present in your life in some way. There is absolutely something about the dream experience that your subconscious connects to. Some of the answers must come from you asking yourself these pertinent questions and seeking to understand what you feel more deeply. For only you have the true answer.
Another thing you can do is to purchase a dream dictionary. There are several on the market, and they may help you to understand that message this dream gives you. Perhaps it returns when you are struggling with something. It could be giving a message you have yet to understand. The meanings are endless - and again - only you can really provide the truth to yourself.

I checked an online dream dictionary which says that burning of a house often means that a close relative needs help desperately. If the fire burns you, it is bad luck. But if you manage to put out the fire it means that you will overcome the obstacles of life.
In my case it was a church and I ran away instead of dousing the fire, maybe it means I'm running away from my troubles.
I never knew dreams could be interpreted.
Now I know. Thank you for that.

Good for you! You are so very welcome. There is much to be found about ourselves in our dreams, to those who wish to know. I'm so glad this was helpful for you. For me, dreams are in full detail, but this is not true for everyone. Some of us see the entire event as though we are watching a movie, some just get bits and pieces. You'll find as you continue to look online about dreams, that having a dream journal can be very helpful to you. It allows you to record just how often similarities occur in your dreams and can pinpoint a subconscious pattern of which you may be unaware.
Sweet dreams!

i am not sure if i have. i cant remember. but i dont think so.
maybe it is trying to warn you about something that you keep ignoring. write down that dream, and try to analyze it in order to see what it is trying to tell you or warn you about.
