Well hockey camp officially started yesterday in out town. The family was so excited to watch the players practice. My 2 y/o was in awe when we got into the arena. We find our friends and then decided where to sit. Well, the only level you can go on was the 100 level. this year they blocked off the higher levels. they didnt have any fun things for the kids inside. i was quite disappointed in the organizaton. Last year was by far the best year for it!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHA HOCKEY'S BACK!!!!!!!!! :) :) I have something to do with my life again! haha.
But seriously, I have been watching the OHL games for the last couple weeks now and can't wait for the NHL season to get started. I am loving the intensity of EVERY preseason game so far. These guys are competing so hard for roster spots it's like I'm watching a playoff game out there. From the Islanders vs Panthers to the Leafs vs Flyers to the Islanders vs Flames to the Canadiens and Penguins and many more it's been a great pre-season!
And aside from the Colorada Avalanche and possibly the Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, every team in the league seems to have a shot at making the playoffs. There are some a cut above the rest as Cup contenders but every team seems to be at least half decent. They all have the potential for something big this year which will also make for an exciting season and one that should have some tight races to the very end. I can't wait! Let's drop the puck for real already!!

you dont hear many people talk about the OHL. They are always like OHL what? What is that? My son is in the junior otter club. I'm so excited! I have some of the players on my facebbok and they know my son. Its pretty cool.

You may want to check the Av's standing.....they may have found Roy's replacement.

The season's 10 games in and the kids in his sixth season, third full, in the NHL. Let's not call him the second coming of Roy just yet. But he is undoubtably the one of the top three ranked goaltenders in the league to this point with Ryan Miller and possibly Ilya Bryzgalov rivaling him at this point.

Yup, hockey's back. They televised the first preseason game. Never seen something like that before.
