Will the world end at 12/12/2012??

According to the Mayan, the year December 12, 2012, will be the last day of their calendar, and a time of great change. They are said to be accurate in astronomy and timekeepers. There are still lots of predictions views like the Alignment of the Galactic Center, Age of Aquarius, Wholeness, Unity, and Interconnection, Evolution of Consciousness, etc.,

When I was in Central America I visited the Mayan ruins. I climbed a Mayan temple at Tikal and watched the sunrise. It is such a captivating place. The Mayans were really clever people. I visited the ATM caves. There I saw broken pieces of Mayan pottery and old bones.
I have heard terrible things said about what might have happened on 31st December 1999. We were still fine on 1st January 2000. I hope that the world will carry on living after 12th December 2012. I have heard that between 2012 and 2020 will be a period of change. I wonder what will happen if anything.

I don't really believe in this prediction, to be perfectly honest. I can explain why, but I just don't. Besides, even if it is true, it's not something that I really want to think about. I just want to take it one day at a time, and not think about when the earth or my life will end.

i don't believe it exactly, they didn't have technologies like we do nowadays. for me, the future of our world is in God's hand, not me, not you, and even the Mayans.
