I Don't Know What Happened ..

I Tried Loading A Anti Virus Program And The Next thing I Restart My Com .. I open My Computer And Both The CD Drives Are Missing .. That Is - I See Only The Hard Drives .. What Should I Do to Fix This .. Please Post if you Have any Clue Regarding This Problem ..

Have you tried to restore it to right before installing ? It may be some sort of junk they gave you with it to, monopolize your system.

How rude of me this is the one thing that can make us crazy. I do hope you get it straightened out ,as I know how much your pc means to you. Especially when upset over something such as this problem. I hope it all works out for you ASP. Best of luck my friend. I realized that depending on what system your running ,after reformatting you may not get back to the point above,but is worth a try if you saved your restore points you have created.Best of luck with your sick PC.

Hi prash ,good to see you back! I know you have deadlines to meet. Nothing more stressful than a sick PC. I have been in some sticky situations myself,so I know how it feels when the frustration sets in. I was also concerned with your heart,are you taking the red rice yeast yet ?

Oh Capsi .. How Caring Of You To Post Such Thoughts .. I Tried Restore I Uninstalled Anti Virus But Nothing Worked .. I Got Back To What I Am Best At (I Had already Mentioned In An Earlier Post) Re-Format .. Anyway Better Late Than Never (Just A Couple Of Hours) .. Thanks For Your Care ..

Its a fair possibility you forgot to un-install an old anti-virus on your computer, before you installed the new one, which totally *bleeps* your drives up :O. even if its a new computer, it comes with some old ruggidy anti virus which is useless, which is the man reason people buy good ones. Like Kaporasky Or so.

Yes this could be the problem ,the conflict of one or two left over files.
