How To Know If You're Successful Already?

We all want to be rich and successful, don't we? but, the question is, how would you know that you already achieved that status, or achieved your goals? When will you be able to say to yourself, "I am successful." When will you stop doing what you're doing because you said you already had enough. That you have already earned money and won't be needing to work anymore for the rest of your life. Will you be satisfied? Personally, after achieving my goals, i instinctively set forth another one. So i really do not know, as of today, when i would be able to honestly say to myself, "I am successful."

It is good that after achieving your goal you are not sitting back and feeling complacent. The fact that you are setting new goals and trying to achieve those shows you are always on the lookout to achieve more.As long as you have this feeling you will be striving constantly and achieving more. What i have been told is that the day you feel you've earned enough or learnt enough that will put an end to the desire or motivation you have to improve. It is only while you keep on trying and working hard that you will be a success. As you keep on improving success is bound to follow.People around you are bound to recognize you for what you have accomplished. The day you have had enough you can say to yourself that you are a success. As regards money i can say one can never say I've had enough as inflation, economic situation and other factors have to be taken into consideration before deciding that one has had enough.

If your drive to move forward diminishes is there chance of progress. If you stagnate is there a chance of improvement.I will never recommend anyone to call himself successful or rest on his laurels. You can never call yourself successful but people around you will recognize you for your effort and accomplishment.

How would you say you are successful if your drive to move forward just don't diminish? My motivation to move forward and improve just keeps me going forward. Doesn't that happen to you? Becoming successful cannot be defined, at least for me, if i say that i already had enough, because human nature constantly looks for new things. Unless civilization cease to move forward, i think calling yourself successful might never happen. An example would be, i don't know, Roger Federer probably. He still has his eyes set on a lot of things despite everyone, most, tennis fans says he is already successful. Imagine having a lifetime contract with his racket manufacturer, numerous clothes and fashion sponsors, tied with the all-time great in Grandslams titles, surpassed the greats, and still has his eyes on a lot more than we can imagine. So how will he say to himself, he is successful? How will you say to yourself that you are successful?

yes..that's a nice thought. its better to let other people call you successful rather than calling yourself one or being satisfied with the works and deeds you have done. thanks.

and how would you say that you have all those things you said? have a million $ in 5 bank accounts? have a fan group or cheering squad? a president of a country? i don't know. i'm not being sarcastic here, but i just want to know. i mean, is there any way to measure those things? because, here in the Philippines, a lot of people already have those, yet they still do not want to stop. They still are not contented and say to themselves, "more more more more!"

Hi. I think you can set yourself some goals.Just like I want to earn how much money at the end of the year,or I want to learn how to play piano. When you reach these small goals, you can say that you are success. And you can really enjoy the feelings. Sucess is not too big, they maybe just beside you. Do you think so?

after reaching your goal? what next? Set another one, then achieve it. Set another one, go for it. If you set for another one, then you are still not successful because you are still striving for something. IF you do not set anything for yourself, what will happen to you? then you will eventually become a failure. so mind-boggling this word success is.

i don't know about that tycoon, but yeah, i believe that the human mind always wants more. If there is a new technology, we would want that. After we get that we are satisfied for a bit until we notice the flaws of that piece of technology or get tired with it. Next, another gadget will come out and the process just repeats itself. So is there a way to quantify success?
