Hello Karen,
When buying computer i always consider the brand name and price.
I buy every piece of my computer dear, and let it assembled by technician.
I had my computer upgraded last 2007 for a higher memory and had an extra HD for music files.

While purchasing a computer i consider a lot of things that the price, processor, speakers, the smps, the ups and lots more things mainly the mother board warranty. Nowadays its really very difficult to judge which system is the best as the market is widely expanding and variety is more. So a suitable survey will work best for me.

i think the three main things that concerns me while buying a computers are the brand, hardware and the price. i can't compromise on the hardware and the brand can compromise some what on the price. because i think if you buy something expensive it lasts for longer period of time than the things that are cheap.

Hi karenkarenkk!
You must also consider the quality of the parts by looking at it's brand name, some do have a very good specs but not durable enough to last long and you will ended replacing it at an earlier time, you may also consider the warranty they give once you buy the computer.
Hope this will help.

I will consider the brand first, then the basic specifications like RAM and HD memory. As the models are really diverse, its hard to know a particular model or brand's quality. Therefore it will be better if you ask among your friends, or look for some review on the internet. It really helps you to find the computer that best suits you and of course within your budget ;)

Well definitely for me first I consider is the price of course I will make it sure that I can't get the best value for my money. Secondly the brand of motherboard then how much memory i will buy I don't mind the brand of my memory cause they are the same next most important the Power Supply a pc performs best and last very long if you have proper power in it.

First thing I consider is performance,(processor, RAM, VC)cause I always use lot for photo editing. Second thing is the brand, something even if you have a nice rig but a poor brand it only takes a a year and say goodbye to your computer. Third the price, I always pick the one that my wallet can afford.

Hi Karen,
The models is very diverse and variety of computor appeared on the market, it is very hard for us to judge which kind of computor is good or not. In such case, I prefer the famous brand computor even it is a little bit more expensive, but waranty is more. Except for the brand name, I will pay much attention on the mother board, which is the essense of the computor and also if the screen of the computor is more fashional, it will become one of my hunter...If I pick up the computor for the first time, I will bring a technical friend with me to give any advise, whether the processor, RAM and HD memory is surely suitable for my request.

When i want to go computer shopping i ussually look at the processor the graphics card and the ram i really don't mind the make much but i do take some into cosideration. The price of course is important as a student i don't have a lot of money and it really depends on my parents and ok so there quite generous but i feel really guilty if i take to much of them i mean i would love a alienware area 51 but they are so exspensive, like over £1000. The best computers our in my opinions are gaming computers but they can be pricy it always best to search around for the cheapeast. If you very smart and technical person why not build your own computer it might take longer but you have 100% control over what you want in the computer why brand of processor amount of ram diffrent cooling system but there are big downsides to this i mean as troubleshooting it kind of up to you as you built the computer you only be helped by the manufractures in there product like the proccessor whereas if you bought a dell computer you could phone them.
