Can you think of any celebrity who has faked their own death?

Since Michael Jackson's death, some people have been theorising that he is still alive and he faked his death to escape the limelight. The same has been said of course for Jim Morrison, Elvis and Richey from the Manic Street Preachers.
I know this does actually happen because, for example, there was a case recently where a family man faked his death and went to live in the house next door. His wife knew about it but the children didn't. He wasn't famous though.
My question is, has it ever been PROVED that a celebrity has got away with doing this?

I don't know of any and, in the cases you've sited, I can't imagine any of them inflicting that kind of pain on the people who loved them. Michael Jackson had already escaped from the limelight and I'm certain he wouldn't put his children through the kind of pain they're experiencing now for that purpose. The same goes for Elvis...he wouldn't have done that to Lisa Marie.
